The Surge - Sniffing Around Trophy/Achievement Guide (All Comic Book Locations)

In this video I’ll be showing you how to unlock the Sniffing Around Trophy/Achievement. In order to earn this trophy/achievement you will have to find 6 different comic books about the Legendary Iron Maus. You will find one comic book in each major area you go to. The first one Is located right beside the first Smelter robot in the game, which can be found in the starting area of the game, The Abandoned Production zone. As part of story progression you will go through two giant open cylinders to cross a poisonous swamp. Go left after you go through, and you will find the comic book beside some debris. The second one is located in Central Production B. It is in the same room where the Vending Machine Cultists are praying to the vending machine that opens the room with the Iron Maus. From where you enter the room, go right and jump on top of the container. The comic can be found on top there. The 3rd one is found in the Resolve Biolabs area. As part of story progression, you will have to drop down a hole and go through the underground pathways to reach an elevator that will take you upstairs to the Greenhouse. Before you take the elevator, you can grab the comic book right in front of the entrance to the elevator on top of a computer desk. The 4th one is found in the Research and Development Area. Through story progression you will come to a giant research room where Barrett will be on the other side. You will have to go through these to eventually get into the bottom right room to power the circuit. Once that is complete, you will have to open the room directly underneath where Barrett is located. After dealing with a Blood Proteus unit, and coming face to face with Barrett, he will open all the doors. Now you can take the lift shown in the video and follow the path to the inaccessible room which is now accessible. The comic book will be on the table in the middle of the room. Be careful as there will be 2 Proteus units that will attack you here. The 5th comic book is located in the Executive Area to the right of the Board Room when coming out. It will be inside an office room on the back bookshelf. Be careful as the room is guarded by two MG Cerberus guards. The 6th and final comic book is located in the Nucleus Area. It is located in the room where you will have to upload the virus onto the rocket, that will give you the alternative ending in order to earn the For the Good of Mankind Trophy after completing the final boss fight. Now getting to this room is quite a long journey and you can easily get lost. I have shown the route to get to this room. Once you get there, a Chrysalis enemy will be there. This enemy is real tough, so make sure to take extra caution when fighting this enemy. Once you beat it, the comic book can be found in the back left corner of the room on a shelf, beside the stairs. Once you collect the final comic book the trophy/achievement should unlock!
