The Dash vault is one of the fundamental basic vaults we are going to learn at the beginning of our training for parkour. The Dash vault is an efficient and fast vault we can use to go over obstacles and maintain our speed during our run. This vault is also known for the unique look and style it has when it is performed. The key points to think about while performing this parkour vault is the jump, the technique with the legs while in the air, hand positioning, and maintaining your speed throughout your landing. One of the biggest reasons people struggle with the dash vault is they are lacking the core strength and flexibility to perform the vault. So if you have trouble or don't feel very confident with this move then you might need more core training. Some exercises that are great for developing this core strength are butt scoots, leg lifts, and knee raises. Another trick that will help with learning your dash vault in parkour is to use progression steps. If you watch the video above you will see towards the end, 2 great ways to progress into this move.
